if you wouldn't mind just quickly running through a little bit about B.Solar who you guys are where you guys are based and B.Solar is a domestic and commercial solar energy company we we provide installations for domestic and Commercial properties we based out of Essex near St airport we operate within the southeast of England and next we got and you guys have been looking to push the commercial a lot heavier in the last couple of months not heading into 2024 absolutely yeah going into 2024 that's our main aim is to push on to commercial properties for the solar industry and at
the height of sort of like running our campaigns of you obviously we came started like late December which isly not the best time to start email because everyone's out the office but coming into like January like February what would you say you know the amount of calls we generating you how would you say like the sort of campaigns were running at the time and that thing yeah I mean we've we've got a few few campaigns going now we we pricing up for for about four or five different commercial projects with with one nearly two megawatt across the line we're just waiting on
on the approval for that let's go ahead with a d so yeah there's a steady flow of work there I you say like the average size of the jobs that we sort of you know got in the pipeline well it's it's rained doesn't it really from anywhere from sort of 50 kows going up to the two megawatts so so yeah I wouldn't say there's an average but it definitely has ranged MH MH obviously sort of not breaching any sort of agreements what would you say you know in terms of details You' be a to like provide about the the farm job we're talking about
Yeah so it's a 2 megawatt site it's going to it's going to be quite big big site as it's it's got I think nine meters on site so yeah there's in terms of work it's yeah it's going to be a good sort six months worth of work on that site I think it's pretty I think it's pretty insane how that came from just a small little email that I sent to the the founder and then we sort of nurtured into a conversation to get you on call and then it sort of turned into all of this going on so I
think that's pretty cool to think about yeah I think it's a lot to do with sort of building up a relationship with a customer as well is it at the end of the day that's the thing a lot a lot of people I mean I know when I first heard about cold email that it's I just didn't think it was possible but if you think about it in essence it's just building a relationship with a customer yeah yeah it's that throughout the whole Market that isn't just in commercials that's also interesting I found a lot of my clients you build a rapport with personally
And you get that trust with them there obviously reviews Help U but it's definitely a l lines of getting on with somebody and just being straight down line with them building up that rapport with them yeah yeah and that's that's that's what we seeing with you especially with this bigger job and some of our other clients that the more effort you sort of put into building that relationship with the customer 10 you get tenfold on the results on the back end so no 100% 100% I think I think that's what a lot of the industry our industry specifically in the
lead gen space is sort of like missing is you know you can you can generate hundreds and hundreds of leads but all it takes is to maybe pull back on the actual amount and focus on the quality and just get like two to three to four good opportunities coming in actually exactly exactly you know window Shoppers as we like to call them yeah yeah just being to get in front of the client I think is key so like the whole Zoom call yeah it's been able to show people especially in commercial ranges to show them actually how much money it can save because at
the end of the day on a commercial level it is a lot more about savings on money than anything else and if you can put it in black and white in front of them if the figures make sense then it's it's an absolute no brainer in quality of the leads are like yeah the quality of the leads yeah definitely 100% I've tried other commercial lead gen and not got very far with you know there's a lot there's a lot of lead generation companies out there at the moment but yeah to be honest you you guys have come through with some brilliant leads
so I can't I can't moan at that but again for anybody that knows the commercial sector isn't an overnight it's not like domestic sector it's not an overnight thing it's a lot of nurturing it's a lot of conversations and not only that you know it's people wait waiting for the start of the financial year stuff like that you know going in price of a commercial job they might not want it done till six eight months a year down the line they're just getting ready to to go into it so you know we we but we're in those steps aren't we we're in those
steps of of definitely pushing two across the line yeah and nurturing the rest that we've got going on so you know it's a work in progress yeah I feel like a lot of people in this industry are misled by other lead generation providers they sort of sell the idea that it's you know we're going to get your lead and they'll be over the line in A month's time whereas like the realistic side of things is you know these things do take a long time but if you're willing to sit through it you know the ROI is there all day long it's just a case
yeah it's effort is at the end of the day the more effort you put in the more you're going to get return on investment so you know that's his time and effort so yeah yeah

Who B.Solar are
B.Solar is a domestic and commercial solar company based in Essex near Stansted Airport, working across the South East of England. Going into 2024, its main aim was to grow on commercial properties.
The situation
B.Solar had tried other commercial lead generation without getting far. Commercial solar is not quick: it takes nurturing and many conversations, and customers often wait for a new financial year, so a job priced now may not go ahead for six months to a year.
What TNW delivered
TNW started cold email campaigns in late December. By the interview B.Solar was pricing four or five commercial projects, ranging from about 50kW to 2MW. The largest, a farm site of around 2MW with nine meters, was awaiting DNO approval and would mean about six months of work. It began with a single email to the founder that was nurtured into a call.
B.Solar uses video calls to show prospects in black and white how much a system could save them, and says the leads TNW has produced have been brilliant.
The model behind it is the same for every installer: TNW finds and qualifies the business, books the meeting into your diary and you pay per qualified, attended appointment, not per raw enquiry or a monthly retainer. Read how pay per appointment commercial solar leads work, or see the checks behind each booking in how to qualify commercial solar leads.
