Residential solar case study
Hunter Build and Solar case study: three residential solar jobs closed from the first seven leads
Jason Hunter of Hunter Build and Solar, a residential installer in East Anglia, had been let down by Facebook ad providers and a high-pressure lead gen pitch. With TNW he closed three of his first seven qualified leads, at around £7,000 a job.

Who Hunter Build and Solar are
Hunter Build and Solar is run by Jason Hunter, its owner and managing director, from Suffolk in East Anglia. He had spoken to TNW about commercial work before, but as he was fairly new to solar he wanted to get going on residential first, so this campaign was residential.
The situation
Jason had spent about a year and a half talking to lead generation companies without finding an offer that stood out. He tried Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising twice. One provider quoted £500 a month, then asked for another £500 after two weeks and wanted his card for the ad spend, having spent close to £400 with nothing coming in.
Another company pitched an in-house lead generation system as a no-pressure chat and ended the call with a now-or-never ultimatum. Jason told them to walk away.
What TNW delivered
Jason says TNW explained how it would work simply and he decided by the end of the call. He had been on the fence about lead generation and worried that it was not his strength; TNW promised to be there every step of the way, and he says it has been, with replies from the team within minutes.
At the interview he had sat seven qualified leads and closed three of them straight away: jobs of around £7,000 each, done as one-day installs, with fitting due to start on the 15th. TNW notes that Jason was on every lead the moment it arrived. He was taking on more staff to push it further.
TNW's commercial service works differently from this residential campaign: TNW finds and qualifies the business, books the site meeting into your diary and you pay per qualified, attended appointment, not per raw enquiry or a monthly retainer.
