How's it going people? So today this is a quick testimonial with myself, Connor and the team from Smart Homes Electrical. They actually joined with us in late January. Campaign starts in February and we've already helped them close a 100 kilowatt system. Which is amazing news for us. Obviously, as a lead generation agency, our number one role here is to get you some cash in the bank via closed installs.
And that's exactly what we've done here with this company. They've been great from the outset. You know making it super easy for us to plug straight into their sales systems, produce some good quality leads in which they've gone to site and closed some deals. So watch the video. If you need any more information about our services or want some more information in general, pop up to any of us. We're on LinkedIn.
We're all very active and we're here to help you get some more deals in the pipeline and get some more deals over the line. So Thomas a little bit about SH and sort of yeah give us a bit of a brief overview of the business. Yeah, so we're Smart Homes Electrical based in the Midlands area. Currently doing both domestic and commercial installs through the whole of the Peak District. Mainly focusing on the commercial market at the moment and yeah, we we seem to be making headways in the in that in that market for us at the moment. It's proven really good.
Amazing. Love it. Love it. Love it. And do you mind just sort of explaining a little bit about sort of what we've been doing together and how you sort of came across in the first place? Yeah.
So we've obviously been looking for some help to try and get some commercial clients over the line and initial inquiries as well, and and you guys have been helping us establish contacts with commercial clients and helping us assist getting surveys arranged and then yeah, following up and and keeping us posted about anything new coming along which which has assisted us to get further work both well mainly on the commercial market. Nice. Nice. and sort of what would you say the quality of our leads were like either from just your first time or in comparison to any other lead generation agency you may have used or any other introducer. So we have used other lead generation companies in the past and there's been a lot of a lot of work backpedaling and finding out if they are reasonable quality leads or just qualifying them more for sales rather than the lead generation company doing the proper investigation if it's going to be a suitable client or not. In your case, yeah, there's still a handful of bits that are awkward for us to get through.
There's a lot of work comes our way that we're trying to qualify them a little bit deeper than than what they are when they come across to us first. But in fairness, you you've you've listened to us when we said they've not been genu, you know, not been able to go all the way to a quotation stage and it looks to be that you aren't, you know, using them as a a verified lead where we're going to get charged for the ones that we have qualified and and have quoted. Obviously, so far we we've managed to secure work from it. Love it. No, 100%. I mean, it has to be something that you can do something with, right?
Otherwise, it's just not an opportunity. Yeah, sort of leading into that then, do you want to touch a little bit on the recent deal that you guys just closed? It' be nice to get a bit more information about that and sort of how that came in. Yeah, so we we gave you an indication of our area which the job has ball and right spot in within our our area that we're looking for commercial work. I got some good detail on the client to to qualify at first which did look interesting. the job in in essence looked a really sort of interesting job right up our street.
So from that we arranged a a site visit with the client went and did the survey had a meeting with them looked at the payback made some adjustments on it to fall in line with their payback period for for what they're wanting to spend. Which we we did resent it. Had another meeting with the client. Went over some fine bits of the nitty-gritty really in the the the final part of the install process and yeah, after a week of not pestering him too much, we got a signed contract back ready to go. So, we're currently at a stage of getting a connection agreement in that's already gone with a view to looking to be installing hopefully round about May, the beginning of May, I'm hoping we'll will be going in. So, yeah, really pleased.
Fast. And how how big was that install? It's 100 kilowatt over three roofs, but we're all all together each other. It's a really easy install for us to be fair. So you perfect really perfect job. Yeah.
Was that was that the first lead? Yeah, the very first one. Yeah. Yeah. Love it. I'll give the team a round of applause on behalf of that one.
Yeah. I mean, if they get these leads in these printing companies are using so much energy and that is a printing company. Printing companies and farms are just like there's a license to print money with them to be fair, you know, because they're desperate to get it in. The paybacks are so short. We're in two years on paybacks at the moment. Yeah.
More of them. I'll take that in mind. But how would you sort of say the communication service has been between your team and ours in regards to the leads we bring forward? Oh well to be fair, you can't fault that side of the business. The communication via the WhatsApp team group is is bang on and and to be fair, we're so busy anyway. The the nudges I'm getting on the teams group about have you followed this up?
And and getting a it's like having your own PA to be fair. She's I can't remember the lady's name who I work with. She she's nudging me. Are you you know you you got this booked in today which is really useful. Because we have got a lot going off here at the moment and if I'm not got someone nudging me I kind of let stuff slip but the communication has been spot on. Yeah.
I can't I can't I can't grumble about it at all. Always in contact with me. In fact they just have been again 10 minutes ago. Love it. And yeah. So would you say like the performance-based model that we sort of provide is something that is scalable for like a company like yours?
Yeah, definitely. Yeah. Yeah. It's you you're getting your own sort of sales department in the background working away there for you which is it takes the grunt out of the work that I've got to do. We're getting a nice funnel from that them inquiries coming back through from you. So it does save we're not a huge company.
It gives us a bit more manpower on the sales side of it. makes my job much easier to to pick it up and get running rather than doing searching about and having an an additional salesperson to be fair. 100%. Yeah. I mean, that's why I think we fit nicely because like an outsourced but in-house sales company that sort of it's a bolt-on really, isn't it? That allows you to forget about having to do that initial outreach which obviously as you know prospecting is so powerful especially when you're actually trying to seek work, you know.
And and one one final question then. Would you recommend us to other companies that are looking for you know lead gen services? Yeah, I definitely would. In your case, yeah, I mean we've been looking for a long time for a company that we wanted to work with, not simply jump in, set up, not really get anywhere with them, move on and keep doing that. I think you put a little bit more time into keeping us and everyone's a winner really. You keep going our way, we'll keep we'll keep we'll keep coming your way.
And I don't want to I don't like the having to set up new relationships with you. It's just difficult enough for us anyway to a point where it got that frustrating. I'd just not bother. But you guys came along at the right time. So yeah. Perfect.
Look mate, I really appreciate your time and I'm excited to get you some more deals over the line and we'll probably do these very shortly. I'll make sure we get those farms in and those printing companies. Yeah.

Who Smart Homes Electrical are
Smart Homes Electrical is based in the Midlands and installs domestic and commercial systems across the Peak District, with its main focus on the commercial market.
The situation
The business wanted help winning commercial clients. With previous lead generation companies, Thomas found himself doing a lot of backtracking to check whether leads were reasonable quality, effectively qualifying them for the provider.
Smart Homes signed up with TNW in late January and the campaign started in February, so the first contract below came within weeks of going live.
What TNW delivered
TNW establishes contact with commercial clients, arranges surveys and keeps the team posted. Thomas says TNW listened when early leads could not go through to a quotation, and he was not charged for those.
The very first lead was in the area Smart Homes wanted, with enough detail to qualify it before the visit. After the survey the team adjusted the design to the client's payback target, held a second meeting and, after about a week, had a signed contract for 100kW across three adjoining roofs at a printing company. A connection agreement was applied for, with installation planned for around May.
Thomas says printing companies and farms use so much energy that paybacks on their systems were running at around two years, which makes them keen to go ahead.
Thomas likens the WhatsApp reminders from TNW's team to having his own PA, and the service to an outsourced sales department working in the background.
The model behind it is the same for every installer: TNW finds and qualifies the business, books the meeting into your diary and you pay per qualified, attended appointment, not per raw enquiry or a monthly retainer.
