little bit and just sort of talk about EcoTech so EcoTech been on the go for about eight years now we tend to do a lot of large commercial solar and Eco projects and but what we've been trying to do of late is bridge the gap between the two and obviously you guys have been helping out with that okay great and how long have you been working with us so far oh God what what's that been a six weeks yeah I think about yeah yeah yeah not long at all and what sort of what sort of sparked your interest in the first
place with s of our services and if I'm really honest probably Roman's LinkedIn account yeah and and listen it's getting it's getting harder to reach out to companies and a calling basis sure you know it's hard to get through The Gatekeepers it's hard for you through to speak to the decision makers hard to set up meetings so you guys are professional so it's it's it made sense to try a professional company app appreciate that and what would you say the sort of quality of leads are like in comparison to any other lead agencies or internal bdms that you might have worked with before
they're all right I've actually been because I'm quite difficult to impress in terms of when we're using leads that are coming from an alternative Source however for what we've been asked to spend the turn we're seing on that as quickly as six weeks I find to be really impressive yeah and and and we know what I'm finding is that we're getting the decision maker in the meeting and and we know that they're serious about solar now they might not have the funds just now they might not be able to fund it just now but we know that the meetings you're setting up for us
they're 100% serious they want Sol and they want to hear other options and that's up to us persuade them and introduce options and how to pay for it but I know that every meeting I've had I'm sitting in front of someone that's 100% one Soler in their company yeah I love it and that's what leads us nicely into the deal that you guys have just signed which is always good to hear do you got do you want to touch on that a little bit without obviously breaching Mar that's your baby yeah so that was a big Transport company in Glasgow so we
you set us up with an initial meeting H online and I did my presentation and then we set up another meeting to go and introduce the company face to face then we set a meeting to bring in one of the contractors to look at the roof Etc and then the fourth meeting we went and sign the contract and they doing it first it's a fantastic investment they're a cash rich company so the the deal is about £100,000 so you know we persuaded done that if You' got £1,000 sitting in the bank over 10 years that's going to realize a lot more than just
sitting in the bank and the second big reason was they have G for public service contracts with councils hospitals and the police and one of the top forbidden for tenders is what new BS you have in a workplace they they can now say they 100% self-generated Bill 85 90% so they they're confident they won more contracts with counil and hospitals and skills and Etc so yeah it's just just about get persuading them all the benefits of Sol I think this is this is the thing with solar as well like as soon as you do one install they often refer you to all of their
other like people they know you might get some residential installs you might get some other absolutely all that sort of stuff yeah I mean they've got faith they've got 600 drivers all making good money and when they see that solar on the roof of course got a chance to get domestic jobs yeah of one final question for you guys would you recommend us to other companies that looking to get more consistent workflow and also you know just get more contracts under the belt so oh go just going say no so that we can get all the leads hasn't been selfish then right okay my point
of view i' I've been doing a few exercises looking at domestic regeneration companies and stuff and I would 100% recommend you guys because you are operating on a much higher level app really app thank you guys well pleasure working with you let's get some more deals on the about thank you all right speak

Who EcoTech Contracts are
EcoTech Contracts had been trading for about eight years at the time of the interview. It does a lot of large commercial solar and ECO projects and has been bridging the gap between the two.
The situation
Reaching companies by phone had become harder: it is difficult to get past gatekeepers, speak to decision makers and set up meetings. EcoTech came across TNW through Roman's LinkedIn and decided to try a professional company. The spokesperson describes himself as hard to impress when it comes to leads from outside sources.
What TNW delivered
In every meeting EcoTech has been in front of the decision maker, and the businesses are serious about solar, even if some still need to work out how to fund it.
The signed deal was with a large transport company in Glasgow: an online meeting and presentation, a face-to-face meeting, a visit with a contractor to look at the roof, and the contract signed at the fourth meeting. The company was cash rich and saw solar as a better long-term use of money than leaving it in the bank. It also holds public-sector contracts with councils, hospitals and the police, where sustainability counts in tenders, so being able to say it generates most of its own electricity should help it win more.
The transport company has around 600 drivers, and EcoTech sees the installation on its roof as a route to domestic work from them too.
The model behind it is the same for every installer: TNW finds and qualifies the business, books the meeting into your diary and you pay per qualified, attended appointment, not per raw enquiry or a monthly retainer.
