right so Sean would you like to introduce yourself and talk a little bit about Treepublic yeah so my name is Sean sprag I've been with Treepublic for almost five years now I've been in the Solar industry for just a little over 10 years total you know we've been working in both the residential and the C&I commercial space for for our projects and we've been pretty excited about the growth of the solar industry things just keep getting better every year so how long have you been working with us so far so far we've been working with you
guys for probably about 6 months now and would you say the way we sort of go about is you know a bit different to other agencies like is in less lower quality but more like higher higher quality when it comes to commercial side of things yeah so it's been really great working with you guys so far having been in the industry for so long there's a few things that have been very hit and miss with different ways of doing lead generation or Business Development and that could either be in-house with your own company with outside agencies and one thing that you know
I found that's been really great working with you guys is one is the communication you guys are very communicative with both us and our clients which is really important and then also I would say representing the brand and the professionalism you guys bring all of the clients you know we've spoken to have had very positive feedback about you guys and and and what you're representing so for us I mean you know we've been work we work very hard to protect our brand and build a really good quality reputation and that's what the company's built on and you know you guys
have done a really good job so far you know representing us perfect I think just want to add to that as well like I think with our partnership with you especially it's been really seamless like I can just call you up and then let you know that the meeting's booked and you're happy to I mean we've even done a few live transfers recently as well some like people who don't really have enough time to talk but you know those deals are really big deals and it's important that we can have someone there straight away so you're the top sales guy and that's
great what sort of without breaching any sort of like privacy or anything like that with the leads what sort of deal size and notes would you have about the sort of commercial lead we bring in yeah I mean so far it's been a broad spectrum our company covers anything from small mediumsized commercial we we don't really want to turn down any any good opportunities where clients are interested and want to make the shift change to getting solar installed so I mean on the small end I I would say deals of 100,000 to 500,000 but a very good portion of the leads
you guys have provided so far have been upwards of you know $1 million projects all the way up to $5 million asset purchases for these commercial clients brilant I mean what would you say you know the way we charge for our sort of services you know on like a performance base would you say that's the best sort of style you've come across so far yeah I mean that's always been a huge challenge in Business Development and lead generation in our industry is it can create a really high cost of acquisition or it could be a very cheap cost of acquisition but really low
quality and I think you guys have really so far done a great way of finding a balance to provide low cost of acquisition for for us as a company but giving us very high quality leads and you know with with everyone that we're speaking to yeah just adding to that as well it's it's got to be scalable for everyone and I feel like this is one of those models where for us it's scalable because you know we can start working with you and breaching into the new States Omar to us about you know the other day you know adding to these states now moving
into different areas broadening the sort of T that you guys are willing to work with we can just continue to grow of you guys with this sort of model because it's again Performance Based which means less risk for you guys which is always good yeah absolutely it's nice that we can kind of mutually scale our company together as we expand our service areas you guys are able to adjust and accommodate and you know get us you know New Opportunities where wherever we're interested in and one final question would you sort of recommend us to other in toolers in different areas
to get a more consistent flow of work yeah absolutely I mean again you guys have been very professional high level of trust in working with you guys and and the communication's always on point so you know I I wholeheartedly you know recommend you guys to any commercial Solar Company you know that are you know growing across the us or or even in other countries as well I mean really you guys can apply a lot of the same principles to to wherever the service area is yeah man awesome appreciate Sean

Who Treepublic are
Treepublic works in residential and commercial and industrial solar in the Los Angeles area. Sean had been with the company for almost five years and in the solar industry for just over ten.
The situation
In Sean's experience, lead generation and business development in solar are hit and miss, whether in-house or through agencies. They tend to mean either a high cost of acquisition or cheap, low-quality leads. Treepublic has also worked hard to build its brand, so whoever represents it has to do so professionally.
What TNW delivered
Sean says TNW communicates well with both Treepublic and its clients, and that clients have given positive feedback about how TNW represents the company. TNW books meetings and has done live transfers for busy decision makers on large deals.
On the small end deals have been $100,000 to $500,000, and a good share of leads have been $1 million projects up to $5 million asset purchases. He feels the performance-based model strikes the balance between a low cost of acquisition and high-quality leads, and can scale as Treepublic expands into new states.
The model behind it is the same for every installer: TNW finds and qualifies the business, books the meeting into your diary and you pay per qualified, attended appointment, not per raw enquiry or a monthly retainer. Read how pay per appointment commercial solar leads work, or see the checks behind each booking in how to qualify commercial solar leads.
